100%
Volunteer powered, with people giving time, skills and care.
6PM
Every Monday night in Kibble Park, Gosford.
All
People welcome, with no judgement and no application required.
More than a roster
For people experiencing homelessness, isolation, crisis or hardship, a hot meal can be the first step toward feeling safe enough to ask for help. Our volunteers create that safe space.
Some volunteers prepare food. Some serve meals. Some sort clothing, pack essentials, welcome guests, build partnerships, assist with administration or simply sit beside someone and listen.
Every role is part of a bigger vision: sustainable community services that connect vulnerable people with dignity, support pathways and hope.
“I want to plant a tree in which I may never sit in the shade.”
Ways to help
You do not need charity experience to make a difference. Safelink Alliance welcomes reliable, compassionate people who want to support vulnerable community members with respect.
Help serve free hot meals, create a welcoming atmosphere and support the weekly 6PM community service in Kibble Park, Gosford.
Sort donations, pack food relief items and help prepare essentials for individuals and families doing it tough.
Organise clothing, hygiene packs and practical items so people can access support with dignity and choice.
Offer friendly conversation, connection and a calm presence for people who may feel isolated or unseen.
Assist with collecting donations, transporting supplies, setting up service areas and packing down safely.
Support administration, events, photography, fundraising, grant readiness, community partnerships or social media storytelling.
Volunteer stories
Behind every Safelink service are volunteers who turn generosity into practical care for the Central Coast community.

Teamwork
Volunteers help transform donated goods into practical support for families, elderly community members and people experiencing crisis.

Practical care
Food relief is never just food. It is a message of dignity, welcome and connection for people facing pressure.

Dignity
Our volunteers help create a service where people can receive help without shame, judgement or complicated barriers.
Safelink Alliance is building a future where vulnerable people can access food, connection, referrals and community support through trusted local relationships.
“Monday nights remind us that community is not a program. It is people showing up for one another with consistency and compassion.”
“A warm conversation can be just as powerful as a warm meal. Volunteers help people feel welcome before they are asked to explain their situation.”
“The heart of Safelink is simple: no judgement, everyone welcome, just come.”
